In addition to the General Meeting are those held by Special Interest Groups (SIGs) where club members get together with others that share the same special interest, whether it's graphic art, multimedia, accounting, telecommunication, programming, music, desktop publishing--and still more from a steadily expanding list. Leaders of these groups are accomplished in each SIG's field. Usually SIG meetings are flexbily scheduled to fit when possible in participants' own calendars.

NOMUG has many Special Interest Group meetings, commonly called SIGs. These are smaller meetings that often have a much more specialized focus than the General Meeting. And taking advantage of the many culinary opportunities available in New Orleans, we have the NOMUG's Night Out.

You can find the dates and locations for all SIGs on the calendar.

Newbie SIG

This will be an informal time to share ideas and ask questions. We run into problems on our computers that seem to stump us no matter how experienced we are. Bring your questions and we will try our best to give you good answers. Maybe you have a new solution to a problem or have found something great, share it with the group.

NOMUG's Night Out

NNO is held at a restaurant, usually on the second Tuesday of every other month. Check calander or home page for details. It is a good idea to RSVP ahead of time if you are coming so that we can make the reservation accordingly.

Board Meeting

All members are welcome at NOMUG's board meetings where decisions regarding the group are made.
